“Instead of texting me about your shifts, text this number first.”
What you tell your crew, once.
Shiftline is a phone number that knows your schedule. Staff text a question in English or Spanish and get the answer in a line. No app for them, and no more 11pm texts for you.

How it works
Upload the schedule you already make
A PDF, a spreadsheet, or a phone photo of the printout on the wall. Check the shifts we found and tap Save.
Post the number by the time clock
We send you a sign in English and Spanish. Tell your crew to text it before they text you.
Your staff text, Shiftline answers
“When am I working?” “Who's on Sunday?” Answers come only from your schedule. Anything it can't answer goes back to you.
Keep your scheduler. Lose the help desk.
Shiftline reads the schedule however you build it now, whether that's a spreadsheet, a POS export, 7shifts or Homebase, or pen and paper. Nothing to migrate, nothing for your staff to install.
- Excel / CSV
- Photo of the printout
- Scheduler export
Changed the schedule midweek? Upload the new one and answers change right away. Staff who say yes get a reminder text at 6pm the night before each shift, and nobody gets texted who didn't ask.

Know a boss who'd want this?
Shiftline grows when someone who uses it tells an owner or manager they know. Send them this page.
We never text anyone who hasn't texted us first, and that includes people you tell us about.
Questions
Do my staff need to download anything?
No. They text a regular phone number from any phone, including flip phones.
What languages does it speak?
English and Spanish. It answers in the language it was asked, and switches mid-conversation if your staff do. Nobody has to pick a setting.
What if it doesn't know the answer?
It says so and points them to you. It answers only from the schedule you uploaded and never guesses.
Who gets texted?
Only people who text Shiftline first. Reminders go only to people who said yes, and never before 8am or after 9pm. Anyone can reply STOP to end all texts.
Can staff see each other's schedules?
Anyone on your roster can ask who's working a given day, the same as reading the posted schedule. Phone numbers are never shared.
What does it cost my staff?
Nothing from us. Their normal message and data rates apply.
Does it replace 7shifts or Homebase?
No. Keep building the schedule where you do now and upload the export. Shiftline handles the questions.
